At Dublin Zoo we care deeply about animal conservation. It may interest you to know that most of the animals have been born in captivity or orphaned in the wild where they faced an uncertain future. Many of the animals we care for such as the Snow Leopard, Flamingo, Gorilla and Golden Lion Tamarin are part of a global plan to preserve and protect these endangerd species. Much of the world's wildlife is threatened by pollution, poaching and loss of habitat. With your help Dublin Zoo plays it's part in providing a safer and more secure future for all animals.
