Welcome to Kristiansand Zoo!
Welcome to this summer's most exciting and fun-filled experience safari. It takes a full two days to explore the more than 60-hectare (c. 150 acres) park with all of its exciting and fun attractions, activities and entertainment set in natural surroundings. The zoo has more than 800 animals and birds of Scandinavian and more exotic origin. The animals live as freely as possible in a natural environment. Kristiansand Zoo works with the World Wildlife Fund to save some of the world's threatened species such as the red panda, pygmy hippopotamus and golden lion tamarin. The Zoo offers fun, excitement and entertainment for all ages in a unique Norwegian environment quite different from other amusement parks.
