The “Davy Crockett Camp” located in the forest right next to the park is also very popular with visitors. Here they can almost feel like being in the Wild West as they sleep in comfortable, Canadian blockhouses with a small bathroom and kitchen for 6 to 8 persons. The houses are suitable for families, schools, groups and clubs. A small soccer- and a beach volleyball field have been added in 2008. Special Offers like the “All-inclusive Voucher Book” with coupons for typical in-park spending like food and beverages will help visitors to save money, and so does the beneficial seasonal pass. In addition, every Friday is a special family day – children in company of two full price paying adults will get free entrance.
