The Sea on Dry Land As the largest European complex dedicated to the study of the marine environment, Nausicaa presents the sea to you as it truly is and as you have never seen it before. You will be surprised, astonished and amazed by the sea. Sometimes human, sometimes fish, you will take turns in the roles of observer, spectator and actor. Hold your breath and allow yourself to be taken on an extraordinary journey to the Centre of the Sea. The sea stirs the emotions. Through a blue-tinted corridor echoing with the song of whales, you enter the mysterious world of the sea. You will be fascinated by the majestic ballet of the sharks circling you in an aquarium containing 600,000 litres of water. Let yourself be charmed by fish which have no fear of man and will let you stroke them. From anemonefish to scavenging shrimps, from plankton to the inhabitants of sunken wrecks, Nausicaa reveals the true face of the sea. Dive into the tropical atmosphere of a 200,000 litre coral reef, where myriads of shimmering fish swim around. Venture into deeper waters and discover tuna circling in a suspended diamond-shaped tank containing 45,000 litres of water: there is magic all around you. |
