At Europa-Park, Germany's biggest leisure park, it is possible to travel through Europe in one day. Stroll through 11 European themed areas, enjoy international cuisine and experience fascinating thrill rides on numerous attractions! Europa-Park, the market leader among German leisure parks, offers a wide range of entertainment for young and old alike in the summer season 2004, starting on April 3rd. During the winter season 2003/2004, Europa-Park impresses its guests with an exceptional winter show-programme and a festively decorated park until January 6th.
On an area of 65 hectares, visitors can experience the typical architecture, vegetation and cultures of numerous European countries. Embedded into the different themed areas, the popular leisure park offers over 100 attractions and fascinating shows. For example true to original theatrical performances in Shakespeare's Globe theatre, knights games in the Spanish arena, a gorgeous ice-show and comical childrens' shows - amazement and entertainment guaranteed! Approximately 150 international artists entertain the visitors on numerous stages with their performances. Dance, artistry or magic - the guests can pick out their favourites! A voyage to the "Pirates in Batavia" or a visit to the "Ghost Castle" with its eerie creatures. After that, an adventurous rafting-tour in Scandinavia, a trip to the stars in the "Eurosat" or an unhurried trip on a float through the jungle - anyone can have fun at Europa-Park!
After an adventurous day at Europa-Park the two Spanish 4-star themed hotels "El Andaluz", a Spanish finca, and "Castillo Alcazar", a medieval castle, offer the possibility to stay overnight in a beautiful ambiance. In June 2004, another 4-star themed hotel, the "Colosseo", which is designed in Roman-Italian style, will be opened. It offers a themed bar, two restaurants and a large wellness-area with pool. Those who prefer to stay overnight in a more adventurous setting, can sleep in one of the 22 tents in our Tipi Village and feel like a North American Indian, when sitting by a campfire. For all fans of camping, Europa-Park offers an own caravan site.
