The Ménagerie du Jardin des Plantes is part of the "Musée National d'Histoire Naturelle", the same as are the Paris Zoo at the Bois de Vincennes, the Parc Zoologique de Clères in Normandy and the Espace Animalier of the Haute-Touche in the Brenne.
