The Nordic Ark is a unique animal sanctuary for endangered species from all over the world - not only the nordic wild and domesticated animals but also exotic ones from places with climate similar to the nordic. The animals are in different ways threatened with extinction and some of them are part of our captive breeding project. Thus they need tranquillity for their well-being and breeding and their enclosures are kept large to give plenty of space. A good idea is to bring along a pair of binoculars during your visit. Guided tours by request. |
